Furniture Assembly in South Florida for Homes, Offices, and Rental Properties

Flat-pack furniture is designed to be assembled by anyone, and it usually can be — slowly, with a hex key, on a living room floor covered in cardboard. Hiring it out is about time and about the parts of assembly that actually matter: square frames, fully seated cam locks, level bases, and wall anchoring.

That last item is a safety issue. Tall dressers, bookcases, and wardrobes tip. Every manufacturer supplies an anti-tip strap and most people never install one, often because they are not sure how to anchor into a concrete block wall — which is what many South Florida homes and condos have.

We assemble residential and office furniture, mount and anchor it properly, level it on uneven tile, and take the packaging with us.

Problems this service solves

  • Boxes stacked in a room waiting for a free weekend that never comes
  • Wobbling furniture assembled slightly out of square
  • Missing or stripped hardware and cam locks
  • Tall units that need anchoring but sit on a block wall
  • Office moves where dozens of pieces need to be built quickly
  • Furniture that needs disassembly before a move or a floor installation
  • Rental units that need furnishing between tenants

Details that separate proper assembly from fast assembly

  • Square the frame before final tightening. Case goods that are tightened out of square will always have doors and drawers that do not align.
  • Seat every cam lock fully. Partially engaged cams are the most common cause of furniture that loosens within weeks.
  • Use the back panel correctly. Thin back panels are structural on bookcases and wardrobes; skipping fasteners here causes racking.
  • Anchor tall pieces. In concrete block construction we use appropriate masonry anchors rather than drywall anchors that will pull out.
  • Level to the floor you have. South Florida tile floors are rarely perfectly flat; shimming prevents doors from swinging on their own.

For homeowners and residents

For homes we assemble beds, dressers, wardrobes, desks, dining sets, bookcases, entertainment centers, patio furniture, and children's furniture — with anti-tip anchoring included wherever the manufacturer calls for it.

For businesses and property managers

For offices and short-term rental operators we handle bulk assembly: workstations, task chairs, conference tables, storage cabinets, and shelving, scheduled so it does not disrupt working hours.
